We want to make the first step toward working with an architecture firm easier. A clear brief helps clients explain their priorities and gives firms the information they need to assess an opportunity before discussing it further.

For People Planning a Project

Our guided request process helps you outline your project type, location, size, budget, timing, and other requirements. You can add reference images to help explain your ideas and manage your request through My requests.

If you choose to offer your project to firms, a limited summary of an eligible request can appear on our public request board and be shared through matching. Public summaries exclude your name, contact details, free-text notes, and uploaded images.

With your consent, up to three firms can purchase access to your request and contact details to discuss the project. You decide whether to continue those conversations and who to engage.

For Architecture Firms

ArchProjectBrief.com helps firms discover residential project opportunities and review structured information before purchasing access. Firms can describe their services, maintain professional information, set service areas and project preferences, and manage their team’s access.

Request previews help firms assess the project’s requirements. Matching and fit indicators provide additional context, while each firm remains responsible for deciding whether it has the qualifications, capacity, and experience to take on the work.

How the Platform Works

1. Describe the project. A client completes a guided request with the information needed to explain their plans.
2. Choose whether to share. With sharing consent, eligible requests can be offered to firms through limited previews and the public board.
3. Start a conversation. Up to three firms can pay to unlock a request and receive the information needed to contact the client.
4. Agree the next steps directly. The client and chosen firm discuss scope, fees, timing, and any professional engagement.

Firms pay for access to project opportunities. An introduction gives both sides a chance to explore a potential engagement; availability and project outcomes vary.

Clients should review a firm’s current credentials, relevant experience, and proposed terms before appointing it. The firm you engage is responsible for its professional advice and services.

Your Information and Your Choices

You can see which firms have received your contact details, hide your public listing, close a request, or withdraw sharing consent through My requests. Hiding a listing removes it from the public board; withdrawing sharing consent stops further platform sharing and asks existing recipients to stop contacting you.
